Accessibility statement

Last reviewed September 17, 2026

Many of the families I care for live with disability, so my website is built to work for as many people as possible. It aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How the site is built

  • Body text is at least 16 pixels, set in Jost, with strong color contrast. Headings use Cormorant Garamond at large sizes.
  • Each page has one main heading, and headings follow a clear order, so screen readers can move through a page section by section.
  • Every image has a text description.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, and the focused item is always clearly outlined. A “Skip to main content” link comes first on every page.
  • Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they’re easy to tap.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the opening animation is skipped, content fades in gently instead of moving, and the motion that follows scrolling, the mouse and touch is switched off. Pressing any key or clicking skips the opening animation.
  • Every phone number and office address is written out as text.
  • The site doesn’t use an accessibility overlay or widget. Accessibility is built into the pages themselves.

Known limitations

The map on the Locations page is interactive and may not work fully with every assistive technology. Its office markers can be reached with the keyboard, and each office’s address, phone number and a Directions link are also written out as text beside the map.
