Privacy notice

This is my website. I’m Dr. Ankita Warkhankar, a pediatric dentist at Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. It has no contact forms, accounts or patient portal, and it doesn’t ask you for personal or health information.

Please don’t send health information through this site

To book a visit, or to talk about a patient, please call the office. Information about patients is handled by the practice under its own privacy practices. Office numbers are on the Locations page, or call (757) 496-8300.

What happens when you visit

My site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, its hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

The first page you open plays a short opening animation. To show it only once, the site keeps a small note in your browser’s session storage. It contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.

The fonts are served from this website, not from a font service.

Services from other companies

• OpenFreeMap provides the map on the Locations page, built from OpenStreetMap data. When the map loads, your browser requests map images and label fonts from OpenFreeMap’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of each request. Your browser may keep a copy of the map images so the map loads faster next time. See openfreemap.org for how the service works.
• Directions links open Google Maps or Apple Maps, which have their own privacy policies.
• Phone numbers open your phone app. Nothing about the call passes through this website.

Children’s privacy

My site doesn’t knowingly collect information from children.
